Dear Kol Ami,
This Friday night, I am inviting you to bring your friends to celebrate Shabbat and enjoy a festive Mediterranean Oneg on our roof deck following services. This is a wonderful opportunity for me to welcome you and your friends in a casual and beautiful setting. I look forward to connecting with you all and welcoming new people to our warm Kol Ami community.
This Monday night at 7pm I will be holding a virtual Tisha B'av service online. This holiday commemorates grief and loss in our Jewish calendar. We will gathering, listening to chanting from the book of lamentations, reading modern laments, and holding space for grief and loss in our sacred community together. Please join me for this experience, as we close the Jewish year.

Torah of Grief Monday, August 12 | 7:00 PM Congregation Kol Ami marks Tisha B'Av with an online program on Zoom. Join Rabbi Lindy Reznick and Cantor Nancy Cohen for a heartfelt reckoning of our communal day of grief and loss. We will read modern laments and hear eicha (Lamentations) chanted. B'nei Mitzvah Service Saturday, August 17 | 10:00 AM Join Rabbi Reznick and Rabbi Podolsky at Kol Ami for a very special Shabbat Awakening service as we celebrate the completion of our Adult B'nei Mitzvah class, and honor the students as they become B' mitzvahed. This event is in-person only.
