Dear Kol Ami Community, The joy of Shavuot is both a celebration of the first harvest of summer and the harvest of Torah! The revelation at Sinai happened on this very day in our tradition. The sweet fruits of learning and Jewish values embodied in the Torah nourish our bodies and souls. May this day of revelation and celebration fill you with goodness, kindness and hope and draw you in awe closer to God and Torah and the Jewish people everywhere. Chag Sameach,
Rabbi Denise L. Eger
