Today is the third anniversary of the Tree of Life Synagogue attack in Pittsburgh, PA. It was the worst antiSemitic attack in US history. Eleven souls were murdered on Shabbat as they prayed in Synagogue and many others wounded. Our hearts were torn and today we remain vigilant for acts of hatred directed not only to our people but all people. Kol Ami remembers: Joyce Fienberg, Richard Gottfried, Rose Mallinger, Jerry Rabinowitz, Cecil & David Rosenthal, Bernice & Sylvan Simon, Daniel Stein, Melvin Wax, Irving Younger. May their memories be a blessing. May the wounded continue to heal from the trauma of that day and may our people go from strength to strength.
