Bagels & New Beginnings: A Meet & Greet with Rabbi Lutz, Our Interim Rabbi
Sunday, May 21, 2023 12:00 - 2:00 PM Want a jump start on getting to know our Interim Rabbi, Rabbi Barry Lutz? While he officially starts in July, you can meet him at this program and learn with him at the Tikkun Leil Shavuot on May 25.
A light bagel lunch will kick off our time together. Rabbi Lutz will explain the role of an interim rabbi, answer your questions, lead some singing, and get to know us a bit as well. Bring your ideas for the future as you'll have a chance to share them. We are so lucky to have Rabbi Lutz join us during this time of transition as our Interim Rabbi. He can't wait to meet you!

The Men of Kol Ami (MOKA) welcomes all self identifying males, non binary, trans, gay, straight or questioning individuals of all ages at MOKA events. A portion of the charge for each event goes to the MOKA fund which helps perform tzedakah (charitable acts) and tikkun olam (building a better world) by funding charities and supporting the Congregation.
Shavuot Yizkor In Partnership with Temple Israel of Hollywood

Shavuot Yizkor led by Rabbi Michelle Missaghieh, Temple Israel of Hollywood.
Yizkor is a memorial prayer service traditionally observed four times during the year— on Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Pesach, and Shavuot. Temple Israel of Hollywood partners with Congregation Kol Ami to offer a Shacharit service with Torah reading to reflect, share, and honor the memory of loved ones who have passed.

Take a break from the craziness of the week (and the city) and join Rabbi Levy for a Shabbat morning hike!
