Through music, prayer, and poetry, our service will highlight just a few of the amazing gifts that the Jewish State has given our people and our world in its young history. We will also take the opportunity to acknowledge and commemorate the immense sacrifices made to maintaining its independence in the face of adversity. Get ready to enjoy special music, a peak into Israeli history and culture, and even a birthday cake on this massive occasion!
Tzedek Council Lunch Bag Assembly for Hollywood Food Coalition

Join the Tzedek Council of Kol Ami as we continue our support of the Hollywood Food Coalition by assembling lunch bags for their Sunday lunch distribution program.
We made just over 500 lunch bags to be distributed across LA during our last event in March and we're hoping to keep up those numbers! We'll provide the materials so all we ask is that you show up ready to help support this important cause!

At the intersection of Lexington and La Brea. In honor of Israel's 75th birthday and Congregation Kol Ami's 30th anniversary the intersection of La Brea Ave and Lexington will be named Shalom Peace Square. On Sunday afternoon, May 7, at 4:00 PM.
Join Rabbi Eger, Rabbi Levy, Mayor of West Hollywood, Sepi Shyne and representatives of the Israeli Consulate, and the Israel Civic Action Network as we dedicate and name Shalom Peace Square. The new sign will be unveiled. A reception will follow in the temple courtyard following the dedication. Please join us for this wonderful celebration of both Israel and Kol Ami.

Yizkor is a memorial prayer service traditionally observed four times during the year— on Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Pesach, and Shavuot. Temple Israel of Hollywood partners with Congregation Kol Ami to offer a shacharit service with Torah reading to reflect, share, and honor the memory of loved ones who have passed.
