It’s time to Renew Your Membership at Congregation Kol Ami
Thank you to the many Kol Ami members who have renewed their annual membership commitment. Many of you took advantage of our new system of automatically renewing your membership commitment. More than 2/3 of our membership are set for this 30th anniversary year and beyond!
For those of you who haven’t yet renewed-now is the time. With High Holy Days just around the corner, you want to be sure to secure your tickets. Our High Holy Days will be held at our very own Kol Ami building for all the services. To ensure that you have a seat, please renew your membership now.
In early June every household was sent their renewal statement by email and mail. You can renew by either going into your account online, on our website, or calling the office for assistance to renew by credit card and/or to set up 10 monthly payments. Or you can send in a check for the full amount of your dues. Jody Turken, our Member Engagement Associate, will happily help you with all the details. You can reach Jody by email at membership@kol-ami.org or call her extension at 323-606-0996 ext 112!
Either way you choose, you don’t want to be left out of all the great 30th anniversary celebrations that are coming our way! And you don’t want to miss Rabbi Eger’s last High Holy Days on the Bima!
We have so much to celebrate this year. Consider being an annual Shabbat and Oneg sponsorShabbat and Oneg sponsor or sponsoring a specific Shabbat service near your birthday or anniversary or in memory of a loved one. You can add all of these special opportunities when you renew your membership.
Or if you already have renewed and would like to add these, consider doing so now. To be an annual Shabbat and Oneg sponsor is only $590 per year. You will be acknowledged weekly in our bulletin and in the temple lobby! Or to sponsor a Friday night service or Saturday morning service is it only $150 per service. You can sign up here
Dues are only one way we support our Temple. If you are able to consider becoming a member of the Rabbis Circle, who give extra support annually from $7500 and up to subsidize those who cannot afford membership, please do so there are special gatherings for just the Rabbis Circle. If you are blessed, help bless others with the gift of Kol Ami.
Or consider becoming a member of the Giborim (heroes) Society who annually contribute an amount between $100-7499 above membership. These gifts are the heart of keeping #KolAmiStrongerTogether.
The average dues in Los Angeles per household at synagogues is over $3000 dollars a year exclusive of other fees for security, building fund, or even religious school. Kol Ami dues are lower to ensure that more people can participate. But we need your help.
Don’t wait, renew your membership today. And help make our 30th year the best yet!
Shalom,
Peter Mackler, Andrew Stein and Michael Sugar President Executive Committee Members in Charge of Membership
