The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles works to identify and address the greatest challenges and opportunities in Los Angeles, Israel and around the world. Since the onset of Covid-19, our Federation has been steadfast in its commitment to addressing our community’s short- and long-term challenges. From providing essential resources for those most in need to increasing cash assistance funds to keeping our community connected, The Jewish Federation is playing an essential role in the rebuilding of our beloved Jewish LA.
 
As part of its COVID-19 Response Plan, the Federation has provided additional assistance to those in most need in our community by providing Congregation Kol Ami with a grant through its Nourishment Fund. The $3,500 grant we received is making it possible to help the most vulnerable among us.

 If you need assistance with food, rent, or utilities, please contact Rabbi Eger at  rabbi@kol-ami.org. All inquiries are strictly confidential.  

The Federation's Ezra Network continues to provide case management, job counseling, legal and financial assistance independent of these funds. If you or someone you know could benefit from this program, please visit  JewishLA.org/Ezra  for direct contact information for each service.
