Hebrew Homeroom with Rabbi Chaiken, Starts NEXT WEEK, Tues. November 17! Want to learn to read Hebrew? Want to brush up your Alef Bet? Join Rabbi Max Chaiken in this Hebrew Homeroom, Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM starting November 17, and continuing every other week until the end of 2020! Rabbi Chaiken will offer a guided introduction (or re-introduction) to the Hebrew alphabet. This course is perfect for those who want to start decoding and reading Hebrew prayers, as a complement to studying in Intro to Judaism, or those who never learned to read Hebrew and want to do so!

This year, we will be welcoming speakers and activists, Latrese Summers and Drïan Juarez. Latrese Summers currently serves as the Intake Coordinator at St. John’s Well Child & Family Center Transgender Health program. Drïan Juarez works as a global consultant on diversity and inclusion, and is the Vice President of Programing for Trans Can Work where she works to build inclusive company cultures where gender diverse people can thrive.
