Awaken Your Soul High Holy Days 5780SELICHOT: Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 7:00 PM
 
Selichot, (forgiveness), is the evening we begin to prepare spiritually for the Days of Awe. This year we will screen the award-winning movie “Never Again is Now”including Q & A with filmmakers Dr. Evelyn Markus and Rosa Zeegers. “Never Again Is Now” is a documentary about the troubling rise of global anti-Semitism. The story is told through the eyes of Evelyn Markus, a Dutch Jewish woman, against the backdrop of her parents’ Holocaust history. This will be followed by our Selichot service and changing of our Torah covers to their white High Holy Day covers.

SHABBAT AWAKENING and TASHLICH AT THE BEACH
On Saturday morning from 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon, October 5, 2019, we will gather at Tower 10 by Lot 2 at Will Rogers Beach for a Shabbat Shuvah beach experience including Tashlich. Bring your beach chair and umbrella as we mark this special Shabbat. Bagels, music and the beach! Families with kids encouraged to join us!
 
CONGREGATIONAL SUKKAH-BRATION BBQ
Sunday, October 13, 2019, at 5:00 PM. Celebrate the first night of Sukkot with Kol Ami. Come for a Sukkot BBQ dinner in our beautiful Temple Sukkah! Bring your decorations to add your personal touch to the sukkah. Dinner is $18 a person, please RSVP in advance.
 
SIMCHAT TORAH CELEBRATION
Kol Ami dances and celebrates with the Torah, Sunday, October 20, 2019, at 6:30 PM.
