This year our High Holy Days theme is “Tikvah" (hope). In these uncertain times, we chose the theme of Tikvah – hope – for our High Holy Days because it is a fundamental pillar of our Jewish tradition, reminding us that even amidst darkness, the light of possibility and a better tomorrow always endures. Hope is not passive longing, but an active force that empowers us to envision and work towards a more just and compassionate world, fulfilling our covenantal obligation to repair what is broken. By embracing Tikvah, we reaffirm our faith in humanity's potential for good and our enduring belief in a future shaped by peace, understanding, and redemption.
