Join Tzedek Council Chairs Rebecca Shurz and Jess Winfield as we lay out our social justice and social action initiatives for the coming months. We are thrilled to be joined by Rabbi Julie Saxe-Taller, Senior Organizer for the California Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, who will offer some updates on the RAC-CA's upcoming initiatives and how we can get involved in their important work. The Tzedek Council at Congregation Kol Ami works to heal and repair the world. We are members of RAC- CA and work on issues of both public policy and hands on work with LGBTQ+ issues, Homelessness, civic engagement, immigration and refugees through our work with HIAS as well as partner with interfaith and other organizations including Neuva Generacion, JACARI-LA, Jewish Family Service Sova Food Pantry, City of West Hollywood Human Services Department, Hollywood Food Coalition and others.
