In this acclaimed, hilarious, poignant, and beautiful one-man play, Jeffrey Solomon
convincingly plays both a gay son and his opinionated Jewish mother who struggles to accept his sexual orientation, tracing her transformation from a shell-shocked parent to the Mom at the front of the Pride Parade.

Mother/SON has toured nationally, including Off-Broadway in New York,
Chicago where it was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award, and it won the Audience Favorite, Best Playwriting, and Best Solo Performer Awards at the U.S. National Gay and Lesbian Theatre Festival.
 
Internationally, the play appeared in London's Off-West End, Melbourne, Australia, the Edinburgh Fringe, and Dublin, Ireland, winning Best Performer in a Leading Role at the Absolut Gay Theatre Festival. Mr. Solomon wrote the pilot for Jim Henson's CITYKIDS, which received an Emmy nomination and Ollie Award for Best Children's Television Programming. He is a Moth Grand Slam Champion on NPR’s Moth Radio Hour.
