Rabbi Barry Lutz of Congregation Kol Ami and Rabbi Jillian Cameron of Beth Chayim Chadashim will engage in a joint learning project by bringing you "Lunch and Learn" on the 3rd Wednesday of every month.  

 

 

Lunch and Learn on April 17 will feature Lane Igoudin: "Building a Jewish LGBTQ Family through Foster Adoption"

 

Lane Igoudin, Ph.D., is a Los Angeles-based writer, blogger, and proud Dad of
two amazing kids, who writes about adoptive parenting, fatherhood, LGBTQ families, as well as faith and spiritual growth. A graduate of CSU Long Beach and Stanford
University, Lane teaches English and linguistics at Los Angeles City College and was a recent Andrew W. Mellon Fellow with the Humanities Division of UCLA.

 

Lane’s memoir A Family, Maybe, a journey from foster adoptions to fatherhood, was
