Remembering and Recommitting on World AIDS Day
Together in Healing and Hope: World AIDS Day

Each year, communities around the world come together to honor World AIDS Day—a time to remember those we have lost, support those living with HIV, and recommit ourselves to ending stigma and discrimination. While great progress has been made in prevention and treatment, a historic funding crisis now threatens to unravel decades of progress. HIV prevention services are being disrupted, and community-led programs—essential for reaching those most vulnerable—are being deprioritized. As a community rooted in justice and compassion, we are called to act – to raise awareness, advocate for equity, and help ensure that progress is not lost.

Sova Food Drive Needs Our Help

Bring canned/packaged food with you each time you come to Kol Ami for Sova!

SOVA is a nonsectarian program of Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, dedicated to alleviating hunger and poverty in the community through food distribution and offering a wide range of supportive services. Every year in July and August, Congregation Kol Ami joins the effort of helping with food donations. As we we come together as a community in our building, we ask you to contribute to a world without hunger. Please bring donated groceries to temple to put in the Sova barrels inside the building: Pasta, toiletries, tuna, salmon, peanut and almond butter, canned goods etc.
