CONGREGATION KOL AMI DEDICATES NEW TORAH

Congregation Kol Ami dedicates its new Sefer Torah on Sunday, October 24, 2004 at 12:00 p.m. at Congregation Kol Ami, 1200 North La Brea Avenue in West Hollywood.

Congregation Kol Ami’s two year project of creating a new torah for the synagogue comes to a close on this date as the new scroll in brought into its permanent home. We will process in joyous celebration with music, dance and song, dress the new Scroll in its new adornments; and offer thanks to the numerous donors who made this Scroll in honor of Kol Ami’s 10th anniversary possible.

The community is invited to attend this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, as we fulfill the 613th commandment of writing one’s own Sefer Torah.
