PARENT AND ME COMES TO KOL AMI

We are pleased to announce a new program for the youngest members of our congregation and their families. Parent and Me/Tot Shabbat begins in October for children 15 months-3 years old. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet the other families with young children and to have our children learn and grow in our safe and nuturing Kol Ami environment. Our program will focus on music, song, movement and art, stories and play time! We will encourage age appropriate child development focusing on learning, motor skill development as well as an opportunity for parents to share concerns, parenting issues and learn parenting skills.

We are pleased the skilled educator, Aki Yonakawa will head our program. Ms. Yonakawa grew up at Wilshire Blvd. Temple and is a member of the faculty there. She has a degree in early Childhood education and has run similar programs at Wilshire Blvd. Temple and Temple Beth Am. This summer she is on the faculty of Camp Alonim at the Brandeis-Bardin Institute. She will be a great assest to our Kol Ami Community and understand the rich diversity of our congregation. So whether your child is adopted or not, you are a single parent family or a two parent family, gay or straight Ms. Yonakawa will be able to help us celebrate the unique and wonderful lives of our children!

The supply fee for this program is only $100 for eight sessions for members and $150 dollars for non-members. Invite your friends and their children to join us for the exceptional experience. Class begins on Saturday, October 23!

Register today by calling our temple office.
