Vox Femina to Perform at Congregation Kol Ami
Congregation Kol Ami continues the second season of its highly acclaimed musical series Kol Hashamayim, The Voice of Heaven, on Sunday, April 25, 2004 with the twenty-one women chorus, Vox Femina Los Angeles, under the artistic direction of Temple member Dr. Iris S. Levine.
Since their inaugural season in 1997, Vox Femina Los Angeles has been invited to sing at many prestigious events including the International Association of Women in Music International Conference, the Annual Los Angeles County Holiday Celebration, and the American Choral Directors Association's Western Division Convention. This concert will examine Jewish themes of femininity and highlight the choral music of women composers.

Kol Ami's 12 Annual Gala
Please join us on Sunday, May 16, 2004 at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Crystal Ballroom, for Congregation Kol Amis 12th annual gala. This years event includes dinner, dancing and a special performance by Carol Channing. We will award our highest honor the Shomer Tzedek (Guardian of Justice) award to three outstanding honorees: Cary Davidson for his long-time and continued efforts on behalf of our congregation and the community at large; Jon W. Davidson, Lambda Legal Senior Counsel, who was instrumental in drafting AB 205, the Domestic Partners Rights and Responsibilities Act of 2003, and Wells Fargo for its generosity and support in the community.
