Dr. Bruce Zuckerman, Associate Professor, School of Religion and Director of the Archaeological Research Collection at the University of Southern California will be our scholar in residence this year. His special area of expertise is the Dead Sea Scrolls. The Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947 in a jar in Qumran. They include some of the oldest copies of the books of the bible. He will explore the hidden messages of these ancient Biblical and extra –biblical texts and talk about his work decoding these important ancient scrolls. $15. Telephone 323.606.0996 for reservations.
