Peace Illumination Project

Peace Illumination Installation Graces West Hollywood
World-renowned lighting artist
Bart Kresa, in conjunction
with Congregation Kol Ami and the
Voice of My People Foundation,
launched a spectacular art instillation
display which ran from November
30th through December 11th. Three
distinct lighting installation designs
were projected onto the exterior front
façade of Congregation Kol Ami. The
concept was a unique project
developed to stimulate conversation
and communal dialogue on the
subject of Peace within our great city.
At the Holiday Season this is especially
important. The project’s intent was to
cause a shift in consciousness and
awareness on the subject of Peace
through light and art. It is estimated
that more than 10,000 people passed
by this impressive spectacle each
evening, and more than 100,000 over
the course of the installation.
