SOVA
Sunday, May 12, 8:30AM - 12:00 PM
Join us for our next Sunday at SOVA's at 1140 N. La Brea, one block south of the synagogue. Followed by brunch, near by. You can also volunteer at SOVA the rest of the month Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30AM - 1:30PM.
Thanks to everyone who brought donations during the High Holiday Food Drive. In these hard economic times, people are still in need. Please remember to bring non-perishable items to the SOVA barrels in the synagogue lobby. High priority items include the toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste & toothbrushes in regular and individual sizes as well as baby food and diapers, sizes 1-6.
Most importantly, if you are in need, please remember that SOVA's services are here for you.

Jewish World Watch 5th Annual Walk to End Genocide - Sunday April 10, 2011

Team Kol Ami once again participated in Jewish World Watch’s Annual Walk to End Genocide, joining 2,000 activists in raising awareness about ending genocide in Darfur, Sudan and Congo. Kol Ami's religious school families and Social Action members helped raise thousands of dollars to support JWW’s advocacy and humanitarian relief efforts. Yasher koach to our walkers for participating in this mitzvah!
We hope you'll join us on April 14, 2013 for the next annual Walk to End Genocide!
