Kol Atid
Kol Atid is Congregation Kol Ami’s 20’s and 30’s group.
We are a progressive group of men and women connected to each other not only through our religious and cultural backgrounds but through our commitment to social action and community involvement. We love to have fun and focus on activities that suit each person’s interests. Many of our programs and activities reflect what our members are most passionate about and each person has an opportunity to lead an event or collaborate with others to share in common pastimes, help redefine tradition and introduce each other to exciting new experiences.
Kol Atid believes that holidays are not the only time to celebrate, so we celebrate throughout the year!
Members can look forward to club nights, pool parties, BBQ’s, Shabbat dinners, ice skating, camping and our annual ski trip to Big Bear Mountain!
We like to put a twist on traditional Jewish holidays with a chocolate Seder during Passover, a brunch with JQ in the Sukkah at Sukkot, a dance party in our sanctuary at Hanukkah (including delicious latkes) and we always keep the good times rocking & rolling after the Purim Spiel each spring.
All of our events are affordable and we encourage members to invite their friends.
Kol Atid committee members meet quarterly to discuss programming and organize events. For more information regarding our activities and upcoming events; check the web site Calendar, Email the Kol Atid chairperson, Tamisha Jackson, or call the temple office- 323-606-0996.
